I created this Battle Scenario back in 2009 on the 10 year anniversary of the founding of the New Orleans All-Star Band. Both bands never battled, but this what that meeting might have sounded like.
Further Background
While New Orleans is mostly a SU Band City, many in the N.O. Band Community have often toyed with the “What if SUNO Had a Band Scenario”. The significance of that being that if there was a University Band in the city of New Orleans that most N.O. Bandsmen would attend there as opposed to going to Southern and that a band of that size (300+) would get The U.
The New Orleans All-Star Band was the closest thing to ever come near that concept. (787
